At the most recent meeting of the Lake County Board of Supervisors, supervisorial salary levels were discussed, but no move to change them was undertaken. A report by Human Resources Director Pam Samac put the board members’ current pay into perspective. If the board returned to the pre-pandemic methodology, supervisors would see increases of perhaps 35%. Supervisor Bruno Sabatier stated that he wants Lake county to have a clear outline of what supervisors’ responsibilities are to the county and that supervisors are not paid enough for what they do, however, he also said he didn’t want to move ahead until the county budget was balanced.
