Yesterday, the Lake County board of supervisors directed Human Resources Director Pam Samac to begin the search for a new county administrative officer following Carol Huchingson’s announcement that she will retire at the end of April. Samac recommended beginning open recruitment starting at the end of this week, with a review of applications in two to three weeks and first-round interviews scheduled for late April or early May. She also recommended opening internal recruitment as soon as possible for an interim administrative officer.
