Mendocino County CEO Carmel Angelo Retires After 14 Years of Service

Chief Executive Officer Carmel Angelo officially retires tomorrow, after 14 years with the county and 12 years as executive officer. At her final Board of Supervisors meeting this past Tuesday, Fifth District Supervisor and Board Chair Ted Williams read aloud a proclamation from the consent calendar honoring the outgoing leader. Various leaders and lawmakers praised and commented on Angelo’s service to the community. She recorded her goodbyes to county personnel in a video on YouTube titled CEO Angelo’s Final Thoughts.
