A man who stabbed another in the parking lot of the Wells Fargo in Ukiah has been taken into custody by Mendocino County Sheriff’s officers and booked on murder charges. A 911 call reported a man was in the parking lot waving a knife around. When officers arrived, they found Leslie Adelman walking away from the victim. EMS was called to assist the victim. He was transported to the hospital where he died of his injuries. Its been discovered that Adelman has an extensive criminal record, revealing at least ten occasions of being booked into the Mendocino County Jail over the past five years. It has also been found that he worked as a paraprofessional for the Ukiah Unified School District in the recent past and that many who have had encounters with Adelman believe he may have some form of mental illness.
