Lake County’s administrative officer has announced she will be leaving her position. Carol Hutchinson said her last day would be April 29th. She’s been the county administrative officer since 2016 and was the first woman to hold the position. Hutchinson’s announcement was unexpected and she did not specifically cite reasons as to why she was leaving now. By her retirement date, she will have served the County of Lake and its residents for 29 years.
