Former Ukiah Police Officer Scheduled to Stand Trial May 16th

Prosecutors plan to call a current UPD officer as a witness in the trial of former Ukiah Police Sgt. Kevin Murray coming up on May 16th. According to the Mendocino Voice, Murray is charged with various felony sex crime charges as well as burglary, filing false evidence in an investigation, possession of methamphetamine, and an AR-15 considered illegal under state law. The prosecution intends to call Captain Cedric Crook as well an unidentified 911 dispatcher, according to pre-trial motions.
