In the latest round of Clean California grants, Clearlake and the county of Lake are slated to receive a share of millions of dollars to transform public spaces and remove litter. According to the Lake County News, The city of Clearlake will receive roughly $1.5 million to clean and beautify the downtown corridor, and the county of Lake has been awarded just over $1.3 million for its beautification project, which consists of both infrastructure and non-infrastructure components.
