A Willits man has been arrested on charges of felony evasion over the weekend. Jessie L. Davenport fled a traffic stop and led officers on a brief chase which officers abandoned due to safety issues. His vehicle was found abandoned. The next morning at another traffic stop, he was found to be the passenger in the vehicle, and was arrested on suspicion of reckless evasion, possession of drug paraphernalia and a controlled substance, and bringing either alcohol or drugs into the jail during the booking process.
