The Ukiah Valley Fire Authority will present to the City Council at their next meeting on Wednesday, a plan to rent two surveillance cameras as a way of helping to prevent arson in the area. The number of arson-related events in the area has been on the rise in the last few years and the UVFA’s rental and maintenance of the cameras at a cost of about $10,500 is a reasonable price to pay for the state of the art surveillance and hopefully prevention of arson.
