The Clearlake Area Highway Patrol office is investigating a crash over the weekend that killed a Redding woman. Sunday morning, CHP’s Ukiah Communication Center received a call of a vehicle crash on Highway 20, east of Walker Ridge Road. Northshore Fire responded to the scene and confirmed the driver had died of her injuries. CHP determined that the driver veered off the road, hit an embankment, crossed the road, hit another embankment and rolled several times. The driver was restrained and airbags had deployed. Identification is pending notification of next of kin.
