A pickup truck discovered in the Russian River on Friday morning and investigated by the Hopland Fire Protection District was reported stolen earlier in the month from the Ukiah area. The owner of the vehicle has been accounted for, and a search of local hospitals did turn up anyone being admitted in that time period. A thorough search of the area around the truck was done when it was first discovered and an investigation into the matter continues.
