A Hopland man with multiple health issues including dementia has been found safe. A call for assistance late Sunday afternoon from a woman who said her husband had not returned from a hike on their property triggered a search party within less than an hour of the report. Mendocino County Sheriff’s deputies, personnel from Hopland Fire and Calfire as well as the MCSO Search and Rescue team all responded, and shortly after that CHP sent a helicopter which conducted an aerial search and located the victim. He was found exhausted and disoriented but uninjured, received a medical evaluation, and was then reunited with his family.
