For those that enjoy fishing for steelhead, the Warm Springs Dam and Coyote Dam hatcheries have said some very nice fish, some weighing over 15 pounds have been seen. The Upper Mill Creek Pond has been stocked for the last few months with steelhead as well and fishing there appears to be good, even fly fisherman are hooking some good fish. A reminder salmon are moving into local creeks and streams to spawn, and its forbidden to fish for them in any streams that run into the Russian river.
