The City of Ukiah could receive about $488,000 over 18 years for participating in opioid settlements involving three of the largest pharmaceutical distributors in the county. In a special meeting on December 27th, the city council agreed to give the city manager authorization to execute the necessary documents to file in order to participate. That money would have to be used for future opioid remediation projects in the city.
