The Lake County Board of Supervisors has appointed a new agricultural commissioner. Katherine Vanderwall is a Lake County native and the first woman to hold the position of Ag Commissioner/Sealer of Weights and Measures. For the past five years, Vanderwall has served as deputy agricultural commissioner and sealer of weights and measures. She will take her position as of February 15th.
