Mendocino County Health officials announced at the end of last week that the youngest patient to die of COVID-19 locally has passed away. The 100th county resident to die from the virus was only identified as a minor less than 18 years old from the Fort Bragg area. The patient was described as fully vaccinated with comorbidities. Officials said there have been 900 people vaccinated as of last Friday. Free COVID-19 vaccinations are being offered at the Redwood Empire Fairgrounds in Ukiah on Fridays from 9am to 5pm
