In the last month, gang related graffiti has been on the rise in Ukiah. Ukiah PD has reported an uptick in “tagging” with very specific identifiers, associated with the local Nortenos and Suenos gangs. The uptick in tagging can precede or follow some sort of gang related crime or event and investigators have determined that a gang related stabbing at an apartment complex happened recently. Tagging in your neighborhood should be reported to Ukiah PD.
