A local group is organizing protests against local mask mandates. The Mendocino Patriots are gathering groups of people opposed to the mandates and sending them into several businesses in Ukiah for what they call “maskless shopping experiences”. According to their website, the Mendocino Patriots plan on protesting at the Ukiah Unified School District’s meeting later this morning. UPD and UUSD officials have been in contact and if necessary, the school board will close today’s meeting.
