The Lake County Board of Supervisors has once again voted to override the planning commission by granting an appeal of a major cannabis operation. The board upheld an appeal against the Sourz HVR Inc. project, after local business owners cited dust and odor, traffic, water usage and other issues that, together, will detrimentally impact the quality of life in High Valley. Also of concern was unauthorized construction of hoop houses being used in a fashion other than normal intent and description.
