Highway 162 just north of Farley is open after being closed for two days due to a tanker truck crash. The Thompson Gas truck was travelling east on 162 when the vehicle tipped over and 2,600 lbs of propane began escaping from a valve line rupture in the tank. Fire crews and hazmat had to stand by to keep the propane flowing to empty the tank. The Layton man driving the truck had minor injuries. The cause of the accident is as of yet unknown.
