There are eight trees that are eight trees that are dead or dying and a potential safety risk, and two large non-native and invasive eucalyptus trees that are tagged for removal. If the removal is approved, the City Council would plant at least ten trees to replace them. Also on Wednesday, the City Council will consider a resolution authorizing the temporary use of the former Mendocino Animal Hospital building as a disaster resources facility to assist those affected by the Hopkins Fire.
