The Lake County Board of Supervisors Chair announced yesterday that they’ve accepted the resignation of Health Services Director, Denise Pomeroy. She was facing termination, and the announcement stated that out of respect and appreciation for Pomeroy’s service to Lake County residents and the Health Services Department for many years, Supervisors will not publicly announce the reasons that prompted this leadership change. Efforts to recruit the county’s next Health Services Director have begun, and County Administrative Officer Carol Huchingson will also serve as interim Health Services director.
