The Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a homicide. A dead body was found in the trunk of a car near Covelo on October 3rd by a warden with the California Department of Fish and Wildlife who was investigating a vehicle parked in the 27000 block of Mendocino Pass Road. An autopsy revealed that the male victim was murdered. No further details have been released.
