Lake County’s interim Public Health Officer Dr. Gary Pace told the board of supervisors this week that the pandemic surge is plateauing. Pace said they are waiting to see if there are any cases from the county fair, and they will know more in a week or so. As of last week, 58.7% of the county’s population 12 and older are fully vaccinated, while 8.5% are partially vaccinated, and 32.8% are not vaccinated.
