The Department of Water Resources is accepting applications for their Small Community Drought Relief Program, and the city of Lakeport is applying for a grant in the amount of $1 million. The program is designed for small communities to improve, upgrade or replace infrastructure that can be impacted by drought. The City would use the funds to replace the well at Scotts Creek.
