A wildland fire near Hidden Valley Lake was sparked by a vehicle crash. According to CHP on Friday, just before 5PM, a vehicle rolled on Highway 29 north of Hidden Valley Lake that resulted in a vehicle fire. The fire spread to brush and then jumped to the other side of the highway. Just after 6PM, an evacuation order was issued for residents of Conestoga Road. Soon after, evacuations were expanded to all of Zone 194, as the fire grew. Evacuation order and warnings were lifted after 10PM. The fire reached over 100 acres.
