A 49-year-old Ukiah man has been confirmed as Mendocino County’s 56th death. At this time Public Health asks all residents to exercise caution when placing themselves in situations that could expose them to COVID-19, especially considering the new more infectious Delta variant.

Inmates Test Positive for COVID-19 at Mendocino County Jail

The results of recent COVID-19 testing at the Mendocino County Jail showed there are currently six male inmates and one female inmate who are positive for the virus. Three Corrections Deputies have tested positive; two were detected by the jail’s screening process and one was detected through off-site testing.
