The Fort Bragg City Council this week unanimously approved declaring a Stage 3 water emergency. The City Council had moved the water emergency to Stage 2 just last month. That caused a drop in daily water usage by 10.5% to an average of 637,000 gallons per day. Restrictions in Stage 3 include: limiting people from watering their lawns to Tuesdays from midnight to 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. to 11:59 p.m.; and forbidding restaurants from serving water unless it’s requested by a customer. See the full list of water use restrictions on the city’s website.
