The City of Willits pool will be closed through Sunday due to a positive COVID-19 case. According to a post from the city, a lifeguard tested positive for COVID-19. The Pool Manager is contacting everyone who had swim lessons on Monday, August 2nd. Anyone who came in contact with a lifeguard on that date at the Willits City pool should consider getting tested. The lifeguards that came into contact with the employee in question are being tested and will be quarantined for 10 days. As a result, there will be no open swim or swim lessons for the remainder of the pool season, which ends on August 20th.
