The Lake County Sheriff’s Office is introducing its newest Law Enforcement Canine, Rex, a two-year-old Belgian Malinois, assigned to Deputy Joe Lyons. They will be assigned to the Enforcement Division and provide a variety of services to the community. Some of these services include, but are not limited to; handler protection, tracking, searching, suspect apprehension, as well as provide school and public demonstrations.
