Lake and Mendocino Counties See Uptick in COVID Cases

Both Lake and Mendocino Counties are seeing upticks in COVID-19 cases. In Lake County, the most recent daily case rate is 10.4 cases per 100,000 – the highest daily case rate in the state for the period of June 27 to July 3. Mendocino County’s case rate at 5.65 per day per 100,000 people, nearly double the average case rate in the state. 49.5% of those 12 and older in Lake County have been fully vaccinated. About half of Mendocino County’s population has been fully vaccinated.
