A Ukiah man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, and child endangerment after hitting parked vehicles on Ford Street and leaving the scene. Following the accident, 49-year-old Lincoln Chalmers, picked up his 14-year-old child, but was stopped near Ukiah High School, as witnesses to the earlier collision called police. UPD reports Chalmers had a blood alcohol content in excess of three times the legal limit to drive.
