Mendocino County Creates Drought Hotline

Mendocino County is offering tips on how to conserve water, and they’ve created a drought hotline. The Mendocino County Board of Supervisors passed a Drought Declaration in April due to worsening drought conditions across the region. The drought declaration requests all local water suppliers to implement their local water shortage contingency plans and urges all residents to voluntarily reduce their water usage by 20%. The County posted simple water-saving ideas on their Facebook page. For further questions, you can call the Drought Hotline at (707) 234-6363.
