Two people, 24-year-old Joe Nathan Boggs, of Lucerne, and 19-year-old Nina Phyllis Martin, of Nice, were arrested following a high-speed chase. A CHP officer tried to stop the vehicle for speeding on Highway 29 near Lakeport. Martin, who was the driver, refused to stop, continued into the Kelseyville area, and sideswiped a guard rail on Stone Drive, then ran into a wood post on Soda Bay Road. Both Martin and Boggs fled on foot and were apprehended. The vehicle was stolen out of Chico.
