District Attorney Susan Krones is among a coalition of 41 District Attorneys throughout the State who are filing a petition with the Secretary of the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation requesting the repeal of temporary emergency regulations awarding early release to more than 76,000 state prison inmates. The district attorneys are calling for the regulations to be nullified by a court so they can pass through more traditional methods, allowing for public input and greater transparency.
