Marijuana Enforcement Search in Hopland

MCSO eradicated a large marijuana grow in Hopland last week. During a search of the property, 3,411 marijuana plants were located and eradicated. While the property owner had applied for permits to grow cannabis, officers determined he had built nine additional hoop-style growing houses that were not on his county or state permit applications. In addition, Personnel from the Department of Fish and Wildlife found 10 environmental related violations related to unlawful pollution of waterways.
