A man from Ukiah is charged with resisting arrest or threatening a deputy. 38-year-old Lewis Dishman was placed under arrest when a methamphetamine smoking pipe was found during a vehicle check by a deputy from the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office. As the Deputy walked Dishman to his patrol vehicle, he shoulder checked the Deputy and tried to pull away. Dishman was placed on the ground by the Deputy until other Deputies arrived to assist with placing Dishman in a patrol vehicle.
