Hopland Man Arrested for Ramming into Ex-Girlfriend’s Vehicle

A Hopland man was arrested for allegedly ramming his minivan into ex-girlfriend’s car. The woman told police she was in a drive-thru on North State Street around 11 p.m. March 9 when 33-year-old Jaime Gutierrez hit the windshield of her sedan with his fist, breaking the glass. The victim said as she was driving away to report the incident to Ukiah Police, Gutierrez followed her and rammed into her vehicle several times. He was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, felony vandalism and domestic battery.
