Congressman Mike Thompson announced Crystal Martin and Carol Huchingson as the 2020 and 2021 Women of the Year in Lake County. Each year, Thompson honors women from the Fifth Congressional District who make exceptional contributions to the community. Thompson said Martin is a dedicated and tireless advocate for justice, as the Lake County District Attorney’s Victim-Witness Program Administrator. Thompson said as Lake County’s Administrative Officer, Huchingson has helped people better connect to county services, particularly during disasters.
