Mendocino County Public Health Works to Contain 4 Outbreaks

A COVID-19 outbreak at an assisted living facility is one of four outbreaks in Mendocino County. The outbreak at Mountain View Assisted Living and Memory Care in Ukiah has 18 cases – 12 are residents and 6 are employees. Other outbreaks include 15 employees of seven restaurants in Fort Bragg. The health department says 200 people were tested on Sunday. there’s also a cluster of 15 cases in Round Valley, and the ongoing outbreak at the Mendocino County jail. In total, 128 inmates and 17 employees at the jail have tested positive for Covid-19. Currently there are two positives at the jail, including a person who was positive when they arrived.
