Lake County Board of Supervisors meetings will continue to be virtual only. While the county’s COVID-19 number are declining, the county’s case rate is still above where it was in November, when the county was moved into the state’s most restrictive purple tier, where it remains. Because of that, board members this week voted to keep the chambers closed. In addition to live streaming meetings, screens have been placed inside the courthouse that can be viewed outside of the building and a microphone is available for public input. There are also Google Chromebooks available for checkout at the Clearlake and Lakeport branches of the Lake County Library
