Over 100 parents, athletes, students, coaches, and community members gathered for a rally in Lakeport that calls for the return of school sports. The “Let Them Play” rally was held at Museum Park in downtown Lakeport on Friday and was one of the many rallies held across the state. Sports have been shut down due to COVID-19, and the peaceful rallies were coordinated to pressure elected officials to get kids back on the sports fields and courts.
