The Ukiah Unified School District is delaying the return to the classroom for the next group of students to be phased in. The projected reopening date for Grades 7 – 12 has moved to March 18th. Yesterday’s weekly report for COVID-19 showed a case rate of 7.3.in Mendocino County. The case rate has to be less than 7 per 100,000 population to reopen Grades 7 – 12. Next Tuesday and the following Tuesday, it is projected that the number will be under 7.
