The Lakeport Public Works Department\s Utilities Division started an important sewer main line replacement project this week. It consists of replacing and upsizing approximately 2,100 feet of sewer main line. The project will replace all of the existing Orangeburg pipe remaining in the wastewater collection system – some of which was installed over 70 years ago.
