State Senator Mike McGuire will be holding a virtual town hall this evening to provide updates on the current state of the Great Redwood Trail project, timeline, and information about train construction, wildfire prevention, security, and more. While several Great Redwood Trail segments have already been built or are about to be built in and around communities in Mendocino, Humboldt, Sonoma and Marin Counties – hundreds of miles in rural and backcountry regions still must be planned out.
