A 22-year-old man from Redwood Valley faces felony evading charges after refusing to stop for a Mendocino County Sheriff’s Deputy during a traffic stop. The pursuit hit speeds of 100 mph. The driver ended up on a property in the 3000 block of Road J, driving for a short time through the vineyards. He fled on foot and got into a small boat and rowed into a pond on the property. After a few hours, the boat capsized, and the driver swam to shore where he was apprehended.
