Phased reopening will begin for schools in Ukiah next week. The Ukiah Unified School District’s Superintendent announced yesterday that both the public health department and the California Safe Schools have approved the Ukiah Unified COVID Safety Plan in addition to the case rate in Mendocino County being under 25 positive cases per 100,000 population. Phased reopening to in-person instruction begins next Tuesday for children in mixed grades, through sixth grade. Learn more on the school district’s website.
