Lake County Man Arrested for Stolen Vehicle and Possession of Narcotics

A man from Lake County was arrested in Ukiah for possession of a stolen vehicle and possession of controlled narcotics. According to the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy pulled over 33–year-old Mark Andrew Nielsen, of Nice for driving erratically. He was placed under arrest when the deputy learned the Dodge Charger was stolen. During a search, the deputy found counterfeit prescription medications referred to as “M30” or “Fetty” that contain the dangerous narcotic, fentanyl. MCSO says pills like these are the cause of many drug overdose medical emergencies and deaths throughout Mendocino County.
