Lake County Board of Supers Approves Homelessness Action Plan

Earlier in the week at the meeting of the Lake County Board of Supervisors, the Director of Behavioral Health Services and Program Manager of MHSA and Housing sought approval for a Homelessness Action Plan and the next phase in the application for a grant from the Homeless Housing Assistance and Prevention program of just under $570.000. The RecordBee reports most of the funding will be used in the Collier Avenue Supportive Housing Project in Nice, which would provide housing to homeless and developmentally disabled adults. The board approved the homelessness action plan with some changes in language.
