Mendocino County Gets Funding for Culvert Analysis

Mendocino County will receive just over $422,000 for a climate vulnerability analysis to identify and prioritize replacement of culverts on rural and county roadways, to help alleviate frequent flooding due to the effects of extreme weather. The analysis will ultimately help reduce flooding on key roadways and better protect the county’s rural communities.

Remember…ALL Fireworks are Illegal in Mendocino County

A reminder that all fireworks are illegal in Mendocino County, including “Safe & Sane” fireworks. The only exception is for public displays of fireworks with a permit. Law enforcement and fire agencies will enforce this zero-tolerance policy. Illegal fireworks will be seized and those in possession of them will be prosecuted.
